BILLINGHAM Town Football Club can confirm that Matthew Crossen has left the club to join former club Marske United.

Crossen expressed a desire to play first division football and opted to join Marske after a conversation with former Town manager Carl Jarrett.

Town manager, Barry Oliver has, as a matter of decency to Crossen, wavered the 7 days so he can join Marske Utd immediately.

The club would never hold a player back if he decided he did not want to be here..

We wish Matt all the best.
