Billingham Town FC

The club are pleased to announce that the alcohol premises license for the clubhouse has today been granted.

Unfortunately the old premises license was surrendered by the previous regime running the bar rather than transferred to the new Supporters Trust who took over the running of the facilities in February. This meant the club could only sell alcohol at special events with a Temporary Events Notice giving the club unnecessary expenditure as well as time needed completing the applications. Delays in receiving the new license also meant several events being cancelled as well as the pool team needing to find a temporary home.

Fortunately after months of filling out applications, speaking with the council, speaking and meeting with residents, the alcohol license has been granted, allowing the club to once again get full use out of the facilities.

The club would like to thank Stockton-Borough-Council for their assistance and co-operation during this time. We would also like to thank the local residents who voiced concerns and took the time to meet with representatives of the club to clear any issues.

The club would also like to thank Sam Thompson our new licensee, Sam Carter and our pool team for their patience, and we also apologise to anyone whose event may have been affected by the delays.

We look forward to seeing you all for a drink in the clubhouse!
