We are delighted to announce that club sponsors Utility Alliance have agreed to back us for the 2020/21 season.

The Hartlepool-based energy consultancy got on board with Town at the start of the 2018/19 campaign, which ended in the club winning the Northern League Second Division title to secure promotion back to the top flight.

That partnership continued last season, and despite the campaign ending prematurely as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic the company has agreed to stay on board for a third season.

Chairman Paul Beddow said, “Utility Alliance have been with us from the start of our journey and I am delighted that they have decided to support us for the forthcoming season. They are fully aware and supportive of our vision to become a true community club and hub. Their support at this particularly tough time is testament to the faith they have in what we are doing and for that we are truly grateful.”

Ian Willis, Head of PR & Marketing for Utility Alliance, added, “We have built up an excellent relationship with the club over the last couple of years, and we have seen how the sponsorship has helped the club recover from difficult times to completely rebuild on and off the pitch.

“An unbelievable amount of hard work has been put in by the chairman and the committee to get the club to the point where it is not only recognised as one of the best run operations in the Northern League, but also as a key part of the Billingham community.

“Nobody could have predicted the disruption the COVID-19 situation would cause, but we hope that by agreeing to extend our sponsorship into a third season that this will help to give the club some firm foundations as they look to get things in place for whenever the new season is given the green light to kick off.

“We wish Paul, Barry and everyone connected with Billingham Town all the very best moving forward.”
